Mrs. Weaknecht - Teacher of the Gifted

Hi all! I'm Mrs. Weaknecht and I am excited to have the role of Teacher of the Gifted in the Parkland School District for Jaindl Elementary School. I have worked for PSD since 1999 as a 1st and then 3rd grade teacher.  I began at Ironton and transferred to Jaindl when it opened in 2010.  I graduated from The College of New Jersey and later received my Master's in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.

 

When I'm not teaching or looking for new ways to challenge and support my students, I'm spending time with my family.  Mr. Weaknecht and I have 2 children: Hailey in 5th grade and "Hootie" (Aaron) in 2nd grade.  I SO enjoy watching Hailey dance ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical just as I did growing up, and always find myself entertained by Hootie's curiosity about how things work in the world around him.
